Musical Instrument and Equipment covers and bags are usually made out of black cotton blend canvas with closed cell foam padding and a nylon ripstop lining. These covers can be made out of other types of materials depending on your application and taste. Materials such as Nylon/Cordura, Extra heavy duty canvas, PVC and more with different types of linings. I've used Australaian flag material, leopard and tiger skin (acrylic), felt, flannelette and all sorts of other mixes. I always use heavy duty zippers when required. iCover's Standard Double Bass Bag is made from heavy duty 8oz (280gsm) canvas. Canvas is long lasting, looks and feels good. The lining is made from ripstop 70d nylon fabric and the units are padded with heavy duty high density foam.The seams are double sewn with the inner lining carefully bound to create a neat finish. Large chain zippers keep the bag securely shut. The zip sliders have 'grip ties' for easier operation and greater accessibility. The neck tie tightens the bag over your bass for a neat fit. Plenty of handles enable lifting the bass in and out of tight situations, a breeze. All handles are nylon web and the main handles are bound for comfort. The bag is easy to engage and disengage in confined spaces. Front sports a generous size accessory pocket big enough for wheel, a couple of leads, tuner(?), lunch, and a bow pocket big enough for your case(s). The back pocket will fit plenty of music, extra strings or other flat accessories. All pockets are secured with zippers. When using the adjustable shoulder strap, the bass can be carried with one arm, leaving the other arm free for opening doors, shaking hands and so on. Available left handed and special requirements by request.
